Lab Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director of Laboratory Services and the direct supervision of a Medical Technologist

Coordinator, the Lab Assistant provides clinical laboratory services to patients in accordance with accepted practices and

Departmental and Hospital standards of care.

1. Minimum Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

2. Skilled in computer technology.

3. Certification per unit specific competency (i.e. BLS, CPI, etc.)
