The Director of Materials Management, under supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, directs the purchasing function within corporate guidelines, maintains a cost/revenue ratio in accordance with budget, maintains adequate inventory levels, sets re-order points and re-order quantities for all stock items, and has responsibility for storage of supplies as well as distribution of supplies to all departments. Also responsible for the operation of Central Supply.
- High School graduate or equivalent with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration or allied field preferred.
- Sufficient previous experience as purchasing agent/manager in a hospital setting with proven managerial skills
