POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the general supervision of the Director of Laboratory, the Laboratory Coordinator assists the Director of Laboratory in

providing overall direction of the Laboratory. In the absence of the Director of Laboratory, assumes responsibility for the

department with consultation with Chief Operating Officer, as needed.

1. Bachelor’s Degree and completion of approved training program for Medical Technologist with MT (ASCP) certification.

2. Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Medical Technologist with supervisory experience preferred.

Under the general supervision of the Director of Laboratory Services, the Medical Technologist Coordinator provides clinical laboratory services to patients in accordance with accepted practices and Departmental and Hospital standards of care. 1. Bachelor ?s Degree and completion of approved training program for Medical Technologist with MT (ASCP or AMT) certification or equivalent.2.
