Through effective management, ensures staffing levels, supply inventory / use, and equipment are appropriate to the service or function performed by the department. Ensures all areas of responsibility practice cost effective financial management and efficient allocation of hospital resources. Ensures patient / customer / physician satisfaction. Ensures department compliance with all appropriate State, Federal, and other regulatory agency guidelines. Works with and reports to the Chief Operating Officer to ensure that inpatient and outpatient services are integrated appropriately.

  1. Graduate of accredited Physical / Occupational Therapy, BS, MS degree or DPT Program.
  2. Degree in related field with certificate in Physical / Occupational Therapy will be considered.
  3. Licensed by the State of Texas Board of Physical / Occupational Therapist by State of Texas.
  4. Certification level courses (ACLS, BLS, NRP, etc.) as per department specific competencies.
